Reducing DNS Hops To Decrease Latency & Points of Failure

Today we've decided to improve network connectivity by streamlining the DNS to cloud connections and reduce one of the points in between that could have potentially been a point of failure.

Even though we haven't experienced connectivity issues yet we thought this was a great idea since the previous topology wasn't necessary to continue through those servers and ultimately could have acted as a point of failure or bottleneck in our infrastructure.
